Ugh!! Every time I try to take a supplement my rosacea reacts to

it. I tried multivitamins (no niacin, low iodine)- bad reaction,

vitamin C - bad, flax oil - bad, pynogenol (sp?) - bad, and now horse

chestnut - BAD. It seems these supplements increase circulation to

my head or something and cause my rosacea to worsen. I need to stop

trying everything just because one or a few people said it works for

them.

I do best when I just use a gentle cleansing/makeup routine, metro or

noritate, eat a healthy diet, avoid triggers, and have a photoderm

treatment once every year or so.

Me too.

> I tried reaction, vitamin C - bad<

same here. I noticed that I got very hot cheeks.

exact same here.

but I never tried the horse chestnut but if I were a bettin' woman, I would

lay odds that I would get hot cheeks.

I think that perhaps you are right in my case. I gave them up months ago and

I don't see nay difference.

I was also taking the grapeseed at one time and gave that up too. I am not a

true believer in taking any type of supplement so perhaps having faith in

them may help them work :)

For the past 2 days I have been letting my skin rest. No cleanser, no

moisturizer and no makeup. You know that I can see a difference. OH, please

help me keep it up.

Glad that I am not working. Retired.

Thank you very much for posting this. I felt as if I was missing out

because I reacted abnormally. I react to a LOT of foods, so maybe

that is why concentrated forms of foods cause problems for me. I

manage to work around the food limitations and eat a healthy diet

that hopefully supplies all the nutrients I need. In fact, I

probably eat more healthy because I'm so paranoid about my

limitations causing a deficiency.

Thanks again. This was very helpful to me.
