I hate to sound so ignorant but I was just told by another

dermatologist that clindamycin/cetacort topical preparation is a

topical steroid... the cetacort anyway. I had always had good luck

w/ this for seborheic dermatitis but never knew that it was a

topical steroid which if my reading is correct has probably thinned

my skin in the areas applied whilst exacerbating a good portion of

the erythema I am seeing now. Is this accurate... and to think that

it was never mentioned to me that this was a topical steroid... I

always thought it was a topical antibiotic preparation... not giving

too much though to the cetacort component of it.

Hmmm.. all very interesting.
