The B vitamins tend to turn urine bright yellow. I have no idea as to the

mechanism perpetrating this effect but as far as I have read and been told it

is totally harmless. I have been taking many vitamin supplements for many

years with the constant result of VERY yellow urine and it has had absolutely

no adverse affect whatsoever. In fact I just this minute got my blood and

urine test results from a routine, yearly physical and all were totally

normal. Don't worry. Best wishes.

Specifically, excess vitamin B2 (riboflavin) excreted in the urine

turns it that characteristic yellow. As others have noted, the color

is harmless.
