Guest guest
Hi Lynda, I think we'd like to know the ingredients of the aqueous cream base. The problem with rosacea is that certain ingredients that don't bother normal skin, bother people with rosacea. I know I wouldn't try any product unless I knew exactly, to the letter, what active and inactive ingredients were in it. Otherwise, I know I feel that I'm playing Russian roulette with my skin. By the way, could you provide us with free samples of this product? That would help many of us evaluate if the product was helpful or not. thank you, Matija > to Adam and eveyone else who enquired: > > The only other ingredient, apart from those listed on my site, is > the Aqueous Cream Base. > > Active Ingredients: > Calendula (Calendula officinalis) > Lavender > Peppermint > St sWort > Tea Tree > Palma > Arnica > Please feel free to contact me with any further questions > > Kind Regards > > Lynda > www.essential-nz.com

Guest guest
Sorry, perhaps I phrased my question incorrectly, or do not understand what an aqueous cream base is. But I was trying to ask what inactive ingredients are in the cream? (i.e. penetration enhancers, emulsifiers, etc). Oftentimes with cea, a product will come along with an ingredient that is helpful (a.k.a. metronidazole) which will then be formulated for various reasons into a cream base containing potentially harmful inactive ingredients such as propylene glycol, cetyl alcohol, mineral oil, glycerin, etc, that many cea sufferers will react to. So I was just curious what the cream base was made up of. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Here in New Zealand Aqueous is routinely used as a base for a great number of Pharmacuetical preperations, as well as natural ones. As a stand alone product it is used for eczema, chronic itching and can be used as a soap, although it has nothing caustic in it. the ingredients of aqueous are: emulsifying wax 30%, white soft paraffin 50%, liquid paraffin 20% in purified water. I'm sorry I don't as a rule supply free samples to individuals overseas. The money back gaurantee covers you in the event that you do not find it helpful. (I have been selling my products online for 6 years now, so you can rest assured the guarantee is valid) Regards Lynda > > to Adam and eveyone else who enquired: > > > > The only other ingredient, apart from those listed on my site, is > > the Aqueous Cream Base. > > > > Active Ingredients: > > Calendula (Calendula officinalis) > > Lavender > > Peppermint > > St sWort > > Tea Tree > > Palma > > Arnica > > Please feel free to contact me with any further questions > > > > Kind Regards > > > > Lynda > > www.essential-nz.com

Guest guest
Oops, please disregard my last question. Hadn't read this yet! Thats neat that the aqueous cream doesnt have very many ingredients. I wonder if thats why you've had so much success with the product. Does anyone know if these ingredients are cea-safe? I've never heard of any of them. Fortunately, none of my known personal triggers were listed, so, I think unless you guys can think of something wrong with one of those ingredients, that I may give it a try. Just out of curiosity though, what in that base allows the ingredients to get into the deeper layers of the skin? Is it the emulsifying wax? If so, could that be used in place of propylene glycol and cetyl alcohol and stuff for other things? Guest guest
Hi, I thought that liquid paraffin was another term for mineral oil. If that is not correct, then I do know that both mineral oil and liquid paraffin are petroleum byproducts. Liquid paraffin is some sort of oil. I read the skinfix website, and the money back guarantee does not include shipping or courier costs. If you're outside of New Zealand, that can add up to a lot of money you'll never see returned to you if you decide that skinfix doesn't work for you. Perhaps we have members in New Zealand who could get free samples and report back to the group? Take care, Matija > > > to Adam and eveyone else who enquired: > > > > > > The only other ingredient, apart from those listed on my site, > is > > > the Aqueous Cream Base. > > > > > > Active Ingredients: > > > Calendula (Calendula officinalis) > > > Lavender > > > Peppermint > > > St sWort > > > Tea Tree > > > Palma > > > Arnica > > > Please feel free to contact me with any further questions > > > > > > Kind Regards > > > > > > Lynda > > > www.essential-nz.com

Guest guest
The base alone seems to be a good protective barrier. Perhaps that is what helps. -Patty
