Hello Everybody,

I rejoined this list a couple of months ago and have not posted since I

joined this time. I just want to share with you what I have done to stop the

progression of my rosacea.

I am sure that anyone that is familiar with the list, is also familiar with

Dr. Sy's Zinc O cream. I have been using this cream for about a year

and a half now (maybe longer), and my rosacea is very much under control. I

use it twice a day, morning and evening. I use the tinted if we are going

out for evening, and the regular all other times. My nose was to the point

that I could see where the skin was getting thicker. It has not gotten any

worse. I had tanglastasis before I started the ZincO, and I still have it,

but it has not progressed. I know everyone can not use it, but for those of

you who have not tried it, I would defiantly give it a shot. For me, it is

the best thing I have ever used. From the very first day I used it, I could

tell that my skin loved it. I don't use any other medications, and I have

tried most of them.

I am also a person that is allergic to almost everything that comes in

contact with the skin. I use all anti allergenic soaps for my clothes and

bedding. I use cetaphil soap for my face and body; so far, no reactions.

I also take the following:

1. Ester-C 1000mg.

2. Folic Acid 800 mcg.

3 Citracal Plus with magnesium.

4. famotidine 20 mg twice daily.

I don't know if any of these help with my rosacea, but they are good for my

health. I am also thinking of adding the Kal-Vein defense, but haven't as of

now.

Well, now I would like to ask a question. Does anyone know of a good derm in

northern California. I am in the central part and am considering having some

kind of treatments done on my face (not for sure what).

Take care..........Judy
