Guest guest
I personally transformed a mild case of rosacea to a severe case after the use of glycolic acid cleansers. I am under the impression from good sources like reading this board for years and Dr. Nase's book that these type of cleansers should not be used for rosacea skin. While some people with mild rosacea do not react badly to it, I find it hard to believe that it is something that I would recommend to anyone with rosacea skin. I just want the people on this board who are not aware of this to think twice. > > >And , to answer your question, yes, I use the glycolic cleanser >every other morning in the shower. At night, I just use a standard >bar of neutrogena soap and water to remove my makeup. I don't really >wear very much. > > >

Guest guest
I agree. And just to emphasize once more, the purpose of my original post was to say " my derm recommended x, i've found it successful, but i'm wondering if there is a less expensive, but similar alternative. " I never suggested that people use a glycolic cleanser, nor am i recommending my specific products/routine. But if people want to do their own research and make a decision to try something similar, i'm glad to answer questions about what works *for me*. I wish everyone the best of luck! > I personally transformed a mild case of rosacea to a severe case after > the use of glycolic acid cleansers.
