Guest guest
O.K., I am going to try posting on this group. I haven't had much success getting messages through in the past, so I gave up for a while. I have mild rosacea. I didn't think I really had much in the way of it skin-wise, but found out I had more than I thought when things got hot this summer. It is still not unbearable. I don't get the red " sunburned " look. I just have small bumps over the forehead that used to be rather colorless, with red bumpy breakouts on the top of my cheeks, and forehead, arms and chest (is that normal?) in the heat. The only really bad thing (other than I look a bit blotchy)is that my forehead will feel irritated or itchy. I am having more difficult problems with my eyes, however. They are irritated much of the time. I was taking minocyclen and stopped, because I wasn't sure it was doing much good and it I have stomach problems which it isn't too good for. My eyes have been really bad the last couple of weeks, so I decided to try again to see if it helped more than I thought. I was beginning to think it was starting to work yesterday, but today they are bad again. I am using genteal drops during the day and gel at night and washing the base of the eyelid with baby shampoo/water combo. Is there anything that can help with the eyes? I need to go back to the opthamologist, I think. I was going to stay on the minocyclen about a month before I went back and it's been about two weeks, so I'll probably schedule an appt. soon. --
