Guest guest
Just wondering if anyone has found anything that takes away the irritation that comes from shaving with this darn condition. I've tried straight razors and electric razors and both leave my face very irritated. Usually I try and shave at night before I go to bed and the next night my face goes beserk, especially under florescent lights at work. I've tried a number of moisturizers and balms for sensitive skin, but those seem to make it worse. Please e-mail me if you have any advice. Guest guest
derek...i had and sometimes still have that same problem. i posted that same dilema and recieved alot of valuable feedback. this is what i do now, everyday for the past couple of months and its the best routine i can come up with: first while in the shower, i use the panasonic wet/dry shaver (target $60.00). after showering i put on aveeno shaving cream (supposedly its for sensitive skin) and use a sharp dispensible razor making just one or two passes at most as the electric razor doesn't get as close as i like. then immediately after i put on a moisturizer, sometimes vitaoil, sometimes lubriderm or if its bad i put on cortisone cream. if my skin is still aggrivated (i wait about 15 mins or so) i put on zinco to cover any blemishes, and that does a terrific job of concealing redness and i dont have to worry about people thinking i have " makeup " on, because it never shows. hopefully this helps, and if you come along something good to add to this regimen, let me know. thanks and happy shaving! tim
