Guest guest
Hello! Okay, well, in the past couple of months or so my rosacea has gotten to be like a tempermental two year-old: red-faced, annoying, and rather unpredictable in its outbursts. So...I'm starting in on supplements in earnest for the first time. Some diet questions, and I already got a nice post from Marjorie on this. I'm trying a low carb diet, though it hasn't helped much. Also, I don't appear to react to histamines very much, so I'm eating canned tuna that is partially oil-packed. A question: is the oil in canned tuna rich in essential fatty acids? I can't get flaxseed/borage seed oil where I am (or I haven't found where to buy it yet), so I'm trying to get what I need from the tuna. In terms of supplements, I've started on grapseed extract and vitamin C. My questions, then, are: 1)Which other supplements have you all tried/do you use now? 2)What are these supplements good for/what is their effect? Thanks all. Your help is most appreciated. Guest guest
Canned tuna is a trigger for me I think due to the high amounts of histamine it contains. Maybe that is what is causing problems?
