Guest guest
The last Digest seemed to imply topical cortisone isn't good... really? Is it bad? I did not know this. Is it all of them or just one specific brand? I was told to use my excema cream " Westcort " (hydracortisone) on my cea forehead rash that I had when recently diagnosed, I've been using it on any little beginning breakouts since and it's been working well... is this bad? Am I harming myself for the future? Thanks! M.

Guest guest
Yes, long term use of hydrocortizone(sp?) will thin the skin and worsen rosacea over time, even though it seems to help a lot at first. From what I know if it is used at all it should only be used in the very beginning for no more than 3 days to start getting things calmed down.
