hello

does noritate help for redness or just for acne? i don't have acne

rosacea. I know it won't help for red lines from dilated blood

vessels. but in some areas i have a faint redness that doesn't look

like it is from dilated blood vessels. Am wondering if noritate might

help for this. thanks amberw

I have used Noritate for a long time to control itching. It doesn't help

the redness at all.

Hi....

I've been using it for a few months and have found that it helps to

soothe my face when I put it on after washing. I don't tend to have a

lot of flushing episodes, however. I'm more the burning/itching type.

If I do have a flushing episode it's usually very intense and the

only thing that helps is POPSICLES.

I've been experimenting with soaps and boy, did the Cetaphil bar

cause an episode. On the other hand, the " new, improved " Aveeno for

dry skin bar was very nice. I liked the (very) subtle exfoliation

from the oatmeal in it. (Very finely milled.) My skin felt really

soft and smooth. No fragrance in the soap either.

I've been into the oatmeal lately--I've been using a quarter

teaspoon or so of the Aveeno Soothing Bath Treatment in about a half

cup of water. (It's 100% colloidal oatmeal).) I dunk a cotton into

the mixture (water consistency, NOT a paste) and squeeze it out a

little bit and dab it on my face. It seems to help clear up the zits

and calm the redness. I haven't been in a flare by the way but it

feels soothing. I may be in a blind hope trance but it seems like the

vessels on the side of my nose aren't as apparent when I do this. I

just leave it on and toss the mixture--it's trés cheap. Perhaps this

might help someone? At any rate, all this trial and error stuff is

keeping ME busy!
