Guest guest
Oh a, can I ever sympathize with you! I have the exact same problem. Heat and humidity have been my nemesis. And, I don't flush until after the burning, etc. has been going on. What sunscreen are you using? I hate to say this but tinted Zinco was making me burn when it was hot out and I began sweating. I can't use it anymore. (For the illegal trade: I have about half a tube left.) : ) I have started making my own concoction of Vanicream 15 (which acts like a really good barrier against the heat AND my own sweat--zinc, titanium diox, vit E and a few other things), Sy's Recreational sunscreen (very water and sweat resistant) and AirWear makeup for color(one of those silicone, stay all day makeups) and a little untinted Zinco because I think it must have some emulsifier in it and the Varicream is pretty stiff. This concoction is working for me. It seems like my sweat aggravates and makes the burning worse. I find this mixture very soothing and it stays put all day. I use the Aveeno Cream Baby Cleanser or the Aveeno Dry Skin bar soap to get it off with no problem. Toleraine Dermo cleanser is good, too. I make up a batch each week. Perhaps, you can figure out a mix that works for you. I would first look at your sunscreen, however. >Thanks for the thoughtful message regarding balancing an enjoyable >lifestyle and >avoiding triggers, Marjorie.
