Guest guest
This is the second summer I've been using Hawaiian Tropic Ozone Sunblock 70 SPF. Works great for me, but I note that nowhere on the bottle does it state the product is non-comedogenic. You'd think this would be mentioned, as it's a selling point. I have a major problem with blackheads no matter what I use, so I normally like to buy a product that's labeled " non-comedogenic. " The highest such sunblock I can get that so labeled, however, is SPF 45 or so. I e-mailed Hawaiian Tropic about whether Ozone 70 is non-comedogenic, but never received a response. Question: If a product doesn't state it's non-comedogenic, should we assume it *is* comedogenic? Here are the ingredients listed on the Ozone 70 bottle (brace yourselves): Active ingredients: Homosalate, Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Octyl Dimethyl PABA, Oxybenzone, Octyl Salicylate, Titanium Dioxide. Others: Water, Octyl Palmitate, Octyl Stearate, Cetyl Dimethicone Copolyol, Microcrystalline Wax, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Gel, Cetyl Dimethicone, Sodium Chloride, Hydrated Silica, Stearic Acid, Acrylates / C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Fragrance, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methparaben, Aluminum Hydroxide, Propylparaben, Mineral Oil, Extracts of Plumeria, Manako (Mango), Kuawa (Guava), Mikana (Papaya), Lilikoi (Passion Fruit), Taro and Kukui. Cripes! Do they *really* need all that stuff in it? Like Guava makes all the difference? Leigh Hanlon Chicago, USA

Guest guest
I find the Acne Detective List on http://www.zerozits.com/Articles/article6.htm very helpful. I haven't checked the ingredients of your sunscreen against it, but at least it doesn't contain Isopropyl Myristate which seems to be in lots of sunscreens and brings me out in spots almost immediately!
