Doxycycline and flushing

Hi,

I'm new. Just read Dr. Nase's book. Tried to read most of the

highlights. I've had rosacea for 9 years. I went to an

opthamologist when I was first diagnosed and he didn't seem to

understand that rosacea had an ocular component. He said he had

never seen anyone with it and that my eyes looked fine. So I

ignored the whole thing. So nine years of metrogel and city block

later and here I am with ocular rosacea. It really scares me.

Anybody know of a good opthamologist in Atlanta, Georgia?

Also, the doxycycline (I just started on it) seems to be helping my

eyes, but it also seems to be making me flush. Nothing in my routine

has changed except adding doxycycline. Could it be making me flush?

My face has suddenly gotten worse as far as redness and flushing

goes.

Anyone?

I.

I was just wondering what the symptoms are when the rosacea produces

an ocular reaction. I have found my eys are more sun sensitive and

become watery sometimes during a flush. Are these the first symptoms?
