Guest guest
Can homemade larabars be made out of almond/pecan flour or does it have to be the real nut? I purchased some the other day but was afraid they had big pieces of nuts in them (which they do) so I gave them to my husband and he loves them. I want to make me some and have tried to use the search engine (which I hate) but can not find the recipe. ~Tonya~ IBD/Diverticulitis SCD 1-13-09 (my one year anniversary this month!) Absolutely it can be made with nut flour -- and, since you're not trying to preserve the nut-chunks (since you're using flour), if you have a food processor, you can whup up the date mixture, add the nut flours and spices, and continue whupping in the food processor!
