Guest guest
I have a question for the wisdom of this crowd regarding fried green peas. Anybody know why they might be illegal? I found this particular treat and the label reads like it might be legal: green peas, oil and salt. I would write the manufacturer, but they were made somewhere on the other side of the world and sold by a USA packager and I didn't have much hope of getting an answer. To clarify these fried green peas remind me of plain corn nuts. If you've had them in the past, just substitute peas for corn and you get the idea. Thanks, Stocker eatingscd.com

Anybody know why they might be illegal? well, if you're making your own, sure... but I would be really wary of it if you can't communicate in any way with the real manufacturer. Another reason I'm wary of such things. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund

Guest guest
I googled this product, made in Malasia: item: 14351 Section: Snacks Fried Green Peas 20 pounds Oil roasted and seasoned whole green garden peas with color added for eye appeal. It's the " color added " that makes me wary, and the food regulations from an area of the world known to put plastic in baby formula. There has to be a way to make them.
