Guest guest
You let the water under the bowl get too hot. So that the egg cooked and couldn't absorb the butter. This recipe is good, because it instructs to beat the yolk until doublebefore you start the cooking process. It saves a lot of time - used to takeme forever to beat the eggs while on the double boiler.Well that explains it =) My recipe said to heat the butter until bubbly and hot, then right after that add it into the egg yolks. No wonder it got whacked! Surprisingly it turned out great the first time I made it like this though. Must've been my miracle hollandaise batch =) Thanks for the recipe! If so, have you tried cutting the eggs and yogurt to see if it helps?AmeliaHusband UC 9 years, SCD 19 months LDN 3 mgTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Thu, February 4, 2010 8:49:27 PMSubject: Re: Re: Uses for Egg Whites? Guest guest
I just noticed your diet. Are your main problems D and B? If so, have you tried cutting the eggs and yogurt to see if it helps?Mainly D, a little B. I didn't have eggs for I think over a week and didn't notice any change, and yogurt I cut for a couple days a didn't notice anything. I think I'll try the yogurt again at some point, but for now it's such a staple in my diet I'm not sure I could do without it.
