Hi,

Sorry to hear you have been dx with RP. Want to welcome you

to the group. It's a great place to get support, make

new friends, laugh, and vent on the bad days. Sounds like

you have had a rough time. Many of us went a long time

before we were diagnosed.

I live in WA., married, three grown kids. I was dx in

Feb. 2000 with RP, after years of going from doctor

to doctor with a multitude of symptoms. Finally found

a doctor who sent me to a rheumatologist in Spokane.

I am being treated with metho and pred now.

Love, Marilyn

I also have the things with my eyes that you described. My eyes are always red because they are so severly dry all of the time and they also feel like there is something in them. I often times have to blink because it feels that something is in them and they get blurry >>

Hi Kathi,

You need to get some Moisture Eyes made by Bausch & Lomb they are lubricant eye drops for dry eyes and it feels wonderful when you use them. Anytime they feel irritated use them. They will help. Take care,
