Guest guest
Prebiotics are food for the probiotics. There is FOS and inulin (not insulin). Prebiotics are non digestable carbohydrates. Only the good bacteria is supposed to eat it. They can cause gas but are otherwise very good. They are found naturally in chicory and artichoke hearts. One company on the web doesnt recommend FOS. I disagree with her but use inulin instead. Start with a little to see if you are allergic. By feeding the probiotics, I have noticed a decrease in the " burning on urination " . I have also decreased the amount of that white stuff that appears on the tongue. scott Re: Burning on Urination In a message dated 8/29/01 7:45:46 AM Pacific Daylight Time, scotts@... writes: << I get the burning on urination somewhat frequently, although I find the probiotics and prebiotics seem to lessen the duration of this aspect of the flare. >> , they did fine lots of strange bacteria in my urine, but no infections...I forget which ones.... Since I have started on the probotics it is much better... Okay... heres a question for you... what is Prebotics...? DISCLAIMER!!
