" May I be rude enough to ask how much the Medic

Alert bracelet will cost? "

Midge, my silver bracelet cost me $50 and that

includes the annual membership. I had the

brochure from the pharmacy, but now I wished I

had checked out the web before I ordered. Go to

www.medicalert.org and click on the Emblems

button. There's a wide range of prices as well as

styles.

" does anyone else have these side affects. did

they go away??? "

Chuck, I don't feel entirely sleepy or sleep that

much, nor do I feel fatigued, but things can

change as I just increased MTX this week. I

usually start my MTX dosage on Tuesday and take

my pills on (two) Tues AM, (two) Tues PM and

(one) Wed AM. I had been taking pills at 2/1/1 on

the same days. Something interesting happened

last Wed, after my first increased dosage: I woke

up in the wee hours feeling flu-ish. My joints,

bones and muscles hurt, I felt warm and could

feel a headache coming on. I decided to sleep in

and call in sick. When I finally got up (which

wasn't too late, just 9am) and walked around a

bit, I started feeling better and once I took my

meds, I was like normal. If it's going to be like

this next week, then I suppose I could be okay,

just drag myself out of bed and hope the day will

get better. If not, I'm in trouble because I work

Mon/Wed/Fri as it is and don't want to be calling

in sick on Weds! In another two weeks, I'm going

to increase my MTX, to a total of 15mgs, so I'm

hoping that things will work out okay and that I

don't have the nasty headaches on the weekends or

the flu-ish feeling in the morning after the

increase dose.

I'm looking forward to the suppressed appetite.

Don't mind losing some weight. I went to the drs

today and found I lost 4lbs. Not bad since I

haven't been going to the gym lately. No wait! It

could probably be 4lbs of muscle going going

gone...! :-(

=====

When choosing the lesser of two evils,

I always like the one I haven't tried.
