Hi All,

As you can see I am posting, Janice saw me at the computer and said " Mom are

you posting? " , I said yes and she was excited about it She said to tell

you all hello from her! It's been a cool day in Michigan only got up to

around 67 but the sun has been out all day. There is a little bunny roaming

around my back yard, my cat doesn't seem to care, I think he's getting too

old!

I dropped 1mg of pred last Sunday, so now down to 14mg. RP started raising

it's ugly little head yesterday but not too bad. Today my left eye is

irritated and watering - which is unheard of because my eyes, nose and mouth

are always dry as a bone in the Sahara!

Anyway, it has been quite an emotional week and I have been doing a lot of

praying like the rest of you I suppose. It still doesn't seem real, it seems

like a bad dream. I haven't talked about all of this with my oldest son Matt

yet, it will be interesting to see what he has to say, he's 21. I will see

him tomorrow so that will be good. I think of you guys and gals all of the

time and hope everyone is doing the best under the circumstances!

Hi Glenda,

It was good to meet you and your husband too! It was good to meet all of you

that came. It was too short, I didn't get a chance to talk with everyone as

much as I wanted to. Steve says that 3 years is just to long to wait to get

together! But we are looking forward to Oregon already!

Patty, I can't tell you how good it is to have you back on line....

especially since I met you and your family.

Congratulations on your Pred... I had to up mine for a few days but will be

back to 10mg on Monday.

About your watering eyes... I was dx with sjorgrens about a month ago... I

told them my eyes were usually dry but had been watering for about a week..

My eye dr told me that to make up for the dryness, your eyes will produce

tears and water all the time, but these are not real tears... Just mosly

water and not the llubricating kind we need... Maybe this is the case with

you.... Have you ever been checked for this?

Well, I wish you would send the cool weather this way.. It was 90 again today

and humid (which is really rare). Bet the bunny is just as cute as can

be....

Hope you have a wonderful visit with your son tomomorrow... Tell Janice a

belated happy birthday from me...

Sandy, How is the Cytoxan working? I sure hope it does.... You've been on

It was cool here today also, had to get the jacket out of the closet. Not that I'm complaining. I get terrible hot flashes and sweats from the Cytoxan so I like the cool weather.Be careful going down on the Pred., don't want you flaring.

Raised my Cytoxan to 100mg a day last Monday and still no results. I see my Rheumy on Thursday and will talk to him about it. My Pulmonologist said I will need 150 to 200 mg. a day to get results. My Vasculitis is spreading up my left leg. Guess I have to be patient..
