Guest guest Posted September 18, 2001 Report Share Posted September 18, 2001 I understand, but i had talked to somedbody about two weeks ago about stents. I have been a member since about Nov 99. I had explained extemsively about why i have my stent. But there are so many new members, it's hard to keep up. I had a really bad scare beginning in Oct of 01-March of this year. I thought this disease was attacking my lungs again. Getting on my computer was not on my mind. I know that Some of you came after i had gotten off of my computer for a while. I have been to San Diego every other month and still going, since Jan of this year. My problem turned out to be not so serious but i thought i was getting ready for another 2 month battle like my last on in the hospital. I am now able to sit down and take a break and can get on my computer and check my mail and respond to it. For those of you who have not had any severe attacks, this disease can take a lot of energy out of you. I guess that's what i was going through. I was literally tired. I wasn't able to check my mail. There were others in the group who i have talked to about my stent as well. My stent was done in an emergency, i didn't have a choice on if I wanted to try a c-pap or have the stent. I have just learned about the stent fully this past couple of months my self. I don't really know how i would have really been of any help to any one really. Now i know a little bit more about them and if any one wants more info about them i can give you the number to my doctor in San Diego and i'm sure he or his is nurse will gladly talk to you. I hope no one was offended that they didn't get the info they thought i could give them about my stent. My stent is in my Left main Bronchial. As you all know this disease can damage any part of the air way passages. I guess whatever stent you get it would totally depend on where the damage is done. I will let you all go. I will be going back out of town this week or mabybe next week. I will be going on no mail for a while.
