Ann,

I'm embarrassed to admit how far behind I am on reading the posts. ANYWAY,

am trying to play catch-up and just read this post from you. What works for

me is each time I have lab work done, I have the nurse make a notation on the

lab sheet to send me a copy of the results. Therefore, when the doctor gets

the results of the lab work, they automatically send me a copy. As far as

the dictation, at least once yearly I request a copy of my entire file from,

say, 9/2000 through 9/2001. If it's something you need sooner, then call the

doctor's office about a week after your appt and tell them you need a copy of

the doctor's transcription. As I say, this approach works for me; however, I

must also add that I've gotten to be a bit bossier / demanding since the RP

diagnosis than I ever was before. Hope this helps.

Love,

T.
