Glenda -

You are so sweet to worry about me!!! Actually I just got out of the

hospital. I had another total hip replacement - so now I have a matched

set. I had the right one done in Feb and now the left. I had bilateral

avascular necrosis from the over use of steriods - imagine that???!!!!

I am doing great. When they did the right hip - the doc fractured my

femur bone and had to put a band around it. He didn't have that problem

this time - so I am having a lot less pain. With the last surgery my

doc pulled me off the methotrexate and the Enbrel and it took me 3

months to get back into remission. This time we did not do that -so am

keeping my fingers crossed that I do not FLARE - so far so good!!!

Thanks again for your concern -

Take care,

Barbara from SD

Barbara,

Glad to hear that the surgery went well. Recovery has to be the pits. Thank God that all is alot easier this time around for you. I will send good thoughts and prayers that all goes well and you don't flare. I still will have you in my thoughts because no surgery is fun to recover from and this one sounds like it takes awhile to get up and about. Keep us all posted on your progress, please.

Lots of Love

Oh Barbara, I'm so sorry what did I put? I told everyone I need new glasses. I'm really sorry about the mistake.
