As for it helping, yes mine was a tremendous inprovement. I stopped getting infections and post nasal drip. I even stopped getting pneumonia and bronchitis, so it was definitely worth it! Good luck! Guest guest
Dear Judy, we'll find out on Monday if the ct scan was bad...it probably is because I've had sinus infections since I was a kid. I'm now 53. So I guess it would be a good idea. Thank you so much for your input. I also get bronchitis and have had pneumonia twice. I know you have to get rid of the "crud" to feel better. Did they give you anitbiotics after the surgery? Thank you so much....Sue Marth

Guest guest
Hi Midge, I have a feeling that sinus surgery is in my future. PCP nose is a mess and when I blow it the mucus is brown. That crud has been in there for years and not cleared up. I also have a lot of headaches over my eyes. I sure hate thinking about it but if it has to be it has to be. A person can't constantly have an infection going on....Well I'll find out tomorrow what the scan shows and go from there. Take Care of YOU....Sue Marth

I know I was on them before they did the surgery so I'd have to assume they put me on them after, at least that's logical. All I know is I felt like crap while my nose was packed, but once they took the packing out and I could breathe again thru my nose, IT WAS WONDERFUL!!! My vote is the surgery is definitely worth it! Even now, altho my sinuses are touchy, if I start to get an infection, the antibiotics actually work in getting rid of it! Before I was on IV Vancomycin and it did nothing (after 3 months). Now my Guafinex twice a day and I'm fine! Go for it, and I pray that it will help you. Let me know what the results are. Love, Judy
