I'm thinking of adding homemade kefir to my diet. As far as I could find kefir

is legal as long as one tolerates yogurt-which I do. I hope to find some kefir

" grains " (I've been looking locally but might have to resort to ordering some).

I've read that I could get the lactose down lower by straining it and/or adding

fruit to flavor which gives it a longer fermenting time. Does anyone have any

experience with kefir? Does this sound right? Thanks Liz
