Glad to hear all of your good news. Are there any other docs near you that you could add to the list? Cathy D.

Update from

Well, yesterday I had my echocardiogram. I will be going to Stanford in Oct for an evaluation on my heart... Was surprised when I called and they answered the phone "heart failure and evaluation for heart transplants " LOl They said they had my records there. My cardiologist just wants a second opinon on my valves... Also went to the sleep dr... He says I need a heat humidifier for my c pap machine... Only problem... he doesn't bill for that, so I went to the medical supply where I got my c pap... They won't bill my ins. either. LOL Said it was private pay only....$350. My dr wrote a letter stating why I needed it and said if they denied it we would do another sleep study with the heat hum. and then prove to them I need it... Medical Company still won't submit it... So...... just waiting now for a supervisor to call me back. LOL Today went to the dr and the ultra sound showed ovarian cysts... That was good news... She is now being referred to Gyn. I went to foot dr and he and I are still working anything around surgery... I will stay in the casts for another month and add my TENS unit 3-4 times a day... That was good news too... So tomorrow I see my PCP for just a check up and hopefully a refill on the Biaxin. Friday I see my Gyn for annual physical. Next week the dentist. LOl Then I should be all caught up for the year... So today was full of good news... I am back down to 10mg of pred and doing okay... Will try to lower to 9mg next week...Hope everyone else gets a bunch of good news this week too. hugsDISCLAIMER!!WE ARE NOT MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, THEREFORE ANY INFORMATION THAT IS RECEIVED HERE IS FROM EXPERIENCE ONLY. Hi , thanks for the report on you and on

. I will continue to pray for both of you.

Wow! The way they answer the phone would have been

totally freaky. Let us know what your PCP has to say.

Sounds as if you are booked solid--must be popular!

Love, Sharon

Cathy, LOL I wish there were... I'm still looking for a rheumy that isn't

3-4 hours away. I have been through a few. LOL I just had to fire them...

Were more concerned with other things besides RP because felt RP wasn't so

serious. They wouldn't even read the stuff I brought them..

I seem to be doing okay with my PCP and he is working just as well with me...

I DO need a rheumy though and will start looking for one this week who takes

my insurance.

See my PCP today and will see what he says.

If I ever find one...you guys will be the first to know.

hugs

Dawn, no need to worry. LOL I have many heart problems... WPW, Mitral Valve

Prolapse, Aortic Insuffientcy and who know what else... My echocardiograms

are done every 3-6 months to keep track on one valves. My aortic valve

damage they think was caused by RP. My cardiologist just wants an evaluation

to make sure the valves are okay... They did find fluid around my heart on my

last echo, but the one that I had 2 days ago showed none. Think they are

watching for congestive heart failure.

Don't worry about me, I don't. LOL I'm sure all will be well.. It will

Greetings from Texas!! It's still hot here and I'm VERY ready for autumn to get here. Did anyone have any loved ones in New York? My husband had a cousin that works in the financial district of Manhattan and fortunately he is fine. I'm going to Boston in October to see Dr. Trentham and now wish I did not have to fly. Can any of you think of anything I need to ask him for the group? , I also have mitral valve prolapse that was only recently diagnosed. Could the RP have caused this? Love to all!!

Alesia

Alesia,

Good to see you post. I know what you mean about flying. I don't care if I ever have to fly again! Take care!

Lots of love

Glenda

Hi , Yes, I'm enjoying this new computer but it's taking me a while to figure it out. Our other one was a very loyal dinosaur and I hated to give it up. I hope Heidi is feeling better. Love you, Alesia Re: Update from <<, I also have mitral valve prolapse that was only recently diagnosed.Could the RP have caused this? >>Alesia, I don't know... I know MVP is very common... My prayers go outnightly to all who have lost loved ones..and the rescuers .It has been really hot here too... I too am ready for fall... Congratulations! You deserve good news! Actually, I got some too, went to

the optomologist yesterday, he said my condition was stable (best I can hope

for) no sign of the Iritis and No sign of any damage from the methotrexate!

How about that? Boy how we've lowered our expectations when we are thrilled

with a report of " stable " . Just keep on getting tose good reports OK?

Love, Judy
