Guest guest
Ann, You have mentioned several places that RP attacks and it sounds like the Dr. is on the right track. The thing that is so hard with RP is it never effects two people exactly the same. In my opinion and this is only my opinion as long as the flares are not in the major areas such as the airway I am doing good. I have had flares, in nose ears, ribs, and various other locations. Has your Dr. done a scope on your chest to see what all the swelling is from. I know someone in the group was getting this done recently and they used a child's scope so that it doesn't cause damage. What type of meds. do they have you on? You have probably said but I have forgotten. The best thing for you to do is read all the info you can about RP. Go into the archives of the group and read some of the info. there that you would like. The Dr.'s don't know as much about RP as we the patients do. Oh I am awful at this stuff. I hope someone else can help you understand what I am trying to say. Know I will be sending good thoughts your way.
