Guest guest
Hi T, Sorry don't remember your name, I'm in a major fibro fog right now, so please forgive me. My opinion and my opinion only, is: In a life threatening situation, you will probably need a trach and fast!!! That's the reason and everyone are pushing the Medic Alert bracelets I think. So an ER doctor will know your medical problems and be able to react immediately. In a calm but bad situation, you need to see your ENT or Rheumy immediately to evaluate the situation. There is time for this in a situation like that, but don't hesitate or wait. You should always see your ENT or Rheumy for any swelling, swallowing problems, sore throat, etc.....though. Don't wait till it's a medical emergency and depend on a ER doctor to know what to do. OK, that's my 2 cents, hope it helps and good to see you post. W >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> .. Ideally, what does one ask for in a life threatening situation? What does one hope for in a calm but bad situation? All replies welcome and I fully understand that these answers are personal not medical...but I trust y'all to give good info.Youve been there, Thanks T
