talking about Qigong...I actually started Tai Chi classes today--I looked

for a personal trainer (not that I can afford it) and found someone

willing to go at my pace. The first thing he taught me, though, was the

Qigong stretches and BELIEVE ME, they helped almost immediately!!! I

Hi:

I am looking for some type of exercise that isn't aerobic. Does the Tai Chi get you winded? I have problems with lung power and will go into a flare if I get too winded.

Does this happen to anyone else? I don't know if it is because of the RP or the vasculitis which also affects my lungs.

Donna, I have been doing Tai chi for a few months... I is very slow and

soothing... my instructor is great... If I can't keep up, I just sit down for

awhile.. and start back when I can... It's not so much being winded for me...

as it is just hurting, think that is from the fibro.. weak muscles.. It

helps with balance and it does do alot of work on deep breathing...that has

helped me too. Very relaxing for me.
