Guest guest
That is so funny and cute! I had some 'trouble' with my tampering as well and had to promise that I would be upfront and open about what my boy was taking! Janice [sPAM][ ] Re: The best way to disguise the taste of Supernuthera? Forgot to add: the compounded cal/mag isn't very tasty...it is in an aloe vera base and just not great. So, I got out my shot glasses, again!, and let them fill it with root beer or cola from Whole Foods - and tell them it is a chaser. First I squirt the cal/mag in their mouth, and then they " chase " it with the cola. Of course, I'm chanting " chase it! chase it! way to go! " and they love it! Plus, the fizz clears the bad taste out of their mouth. Believe it or not, since the chaser, no one has spit out any doses, and my little one actually comes up and says " Mommy, can we have the medicine and a chaser? " In his opinion, the cal/mag is medicine. They don't do a chaser after the vitamins. They are very suspicious of juice. They don't drink it much and inspect it for any signs of tampering - I think I ruined it for them a while back by using it to hide supps. Ditto on applesauce. Just my $.02 about what is working in my house right now. Stephanee > > We have kids who reject juice as well. Guest guest
I'm pretty sure you need an rx to get anything compounded. Kirkman's always gave us the 'runs' no matter how small a dose I gave. This compounded one has been wonderful so far. No issues - and my daughter is back to sleeping thru the night again!!! Yippeee Aren't you working with a DAN! ? Couldn't they call it in for you? > > is the inspector when it comes to applesauce. Do you need > an Rx for the compounded calmag? I want to get off kirkman. >
