Guest guest
I never put honey in the SCD electrolyte drink, as it throws off my blood sugar levels. Plus I drink a lot of electrolyte drink (long story) and my candida levels would definitely surge at this much sugar these days, and when I started SCD but also needed the electrolyte boost I was dealing with a major candida overgrowth and had to limit sugars quite drastically. I make my own electrolyte drink substituting magnesium and potassium for the baking soda, and don’t use honey. I also use ELyte which is a non-sweet form of electrolyte drink, just minerals and water. http://www.crampnomore.com/ I get the green-labeled bottle as it has less salt since my stomach doesn’t tolerate much salt in liquid form. I probably shouldn't do the electrolyte drink yet, since it contains a lot of honey, which I can't do because of yeast overgrowth and thrush.
