Liz, so great to finally hear from you.. I was so worried.. tried to post you

privately, but your mail was full... LOL guess you have a lot of reading to

do.

Glad you are safe. Also wonderful news that you are on a low dose of pred..

I know you were hoping for none, ( like all of us) but if a low dose will

make you feel better than that is what is needed..

Please know you are all in my prayers... Keep in touch so we won't have to

worry so much about you..

Miss you and sending many hugs to you and the girls

Hi Liz,

So glad to hear from you. I would love to have your

dry climate, I know it really helps me. Our weather is

damp, cold and down right winter like. Leaves on some of the

trees are turning gold.

Know only to well what you mean about the pred. I tried

going down to low on it and my rheumatologist said to

go back up on it. He said he feels the best solution

is to take the regular dose one day, then the next day

to take 1 mg lower and just continue that pattern for

a while. I am trying it. Do OK on the day I take the

regular dose, but then the day I take the lower dose

I am really fatigued.

The metho is helping so I am grateful that I finally

bit the bullet and started taking it.

You take care. Love, Marilyn

Liz,

I'm so glad to hear from you. You have been on my mind alot

with all that is going on in the Mid-east.

Sorry to hear you had to go back on the Pred.

Stay safe.......

Hugs,

Sandy

Hello everyone. We are finlly home. Not only do Imiss everyone I met in Tulsa, I have missed gettingthe mail. I am trying to work my way through whatIhave got. I will stay on no mail for the time beingand work through the site messages. Hope and prayeveryone is well, and that people are getting theirlives back to normal. Things are quite tense here, too, as of course there are some dissidents. I wouldlike to emphasize that the Saudis exiled Osama binLaden about 10 years ago because of his threats. Ifeel very sorry for the rest of his family. I wouldalso like to emphasize that most Muslims are appalledat what happened in New York. Islam states thatanyone who kills an innocent person is as guilty as ifhe kills all mankind.Back to RP. I was so proud of getting off pred, andof cours I flared when I got back from Tulsa. Therheumy told me to go back to 10mg, and to try to getdown to six mg. He said I probably will not be ableto get off it all together, like a lot of us. I amnow struggling to get an appt here, but my last set ofblood tests were OK, and I am feeling pretty well. The dry climate here really does suit me better. Takecare everyone, you are in my prayers.
