I finally had my liver function test, as well as a test for anemia

done the other day. my liver enzymes were up slightly. my PCP sayd

probably because of the Metho. If i have to worry about liver tumors

and stuff like that, i will be going off the metho pronto!!

I am not dealing with going out like my dad did when he had cancer

and i wiould not put my kids thru that either it is

horrible, espically for the living. I hope someone has good news about

these test, they also said there was no sign of anemia but i am still

sleeping better than 12 hours a day........chuck

very often the liver function tests go up at the

used to it, they should revert back to normal. Just

keep getting tested on a regular basis. Sharon

Chuck,

It is very common for your liver enzymes to go up a little and then they

should fall back into normal range. Make sure, if you drink any alcohol at

all that you limit it-- especially on the methotrexate. I hope that wasn't

the first liver enzyme test you have had done????? You started Methotrexate

about a week after me and I have had 5 levels drawn on me since then. You

should be having a CBC,liver enzyme tests and an ESR being done on a monthly

basis right now. If they are okay for several months then you can back it

off-- but not for awhile! I am hanging in there with you and your fatigue!!

I battle it so bad-- I always feel a little better when I read your posts

about your fatigue-- SORRY!!
