Guest guest
Glenda, I think that YOU are a sweetie for being so faithfully consistent in responding the daily RP postings....I wish I had your energy....and look forward to the day that I can be a more active participant. I would like to post more often, but my energy levels tend to be running on the low side. I work only part-time, but, I am still grateful to be working at all, as I couldn't work 5 years ago....just too DIZZY, and REALLY tired ALL the time....I think I've learned just to thank God for each day that he gives to me, and do what I can (although I often find myself feeling so guilty for not doing enough...sigh, us type A personalities have such complexes).. Re; your daughter's move to Hawaii...wow, what a transition, as the bad economy and high cost of living usually tends to scare people from settling in the islands. Maybe I'll get to meet with you some day, when you come to visit your daughter?!!! Re: postal service for your grandson's birthday gift, I would definitely recommend the 2-day Priority mail from the US Postal system (although to mail packages/letters to Hawaii sometimes take 3 instead of 2 days from the west coast). Ever since the bombings, there have been less flights to/from Hawaii, which would account for the mailing delay time. How old will your grandson be? I'm sure that he misses his Grandma Glenda already!!! Aloha, karen Message: 23 Date: Wed, 10 Oct 2001 14:57:42 -0700 Subject: Re: Margaret, OT- Lau , You are such a sweetie! Thank you for helping Margaret! She sure has had a rough time of it lately! It is so neat to see others in this group help someone to get pointed in the right directions. I get tears just thinking about it. It is so neat to see this support group really work the way it is suppose to. We are here to support the whole person not just the RP! How are you doing? I hope well! My daughter just moved to Hawaii a week ago. I can't remember the name of where but will look and get back to you. I need to send my grandson a birthday present and need some info. Again thanks for being so sweet! Take care and post when you can! Lots of Love Glenda

Guest guest
, You just post when you can! We know you are out there watching because you always step in when needed. My daughter moved over there to be with her boyfriend. He is a police officer there. Gosh I wish I could remember which island it is! Absent minded her I tell you. Can't even find where I wrote it down at!LOL My grandson will be five years old on Nov. 26th so I have plenty of time to get it to him. At least I have it bought and can just send it when it gets time. Yes he misses nana! He talked to me last night on the phone telling me all about what he was doing. Well take care and I like you am thankful for each and everyday! Lots of Love Glenda Re: Margaret, OT- Lau,You are such a sweetie! Thank you for helping Margaret!
