Guest guest
Thanks for all your encouraging words. The ear already looking better today, still hurts but nothing like it was 2 weeks ago. They are giving me drops for the ear infections, but the minute I tilt my head straight the drops run out. I don't know why they went this way rather than pill form. I am on Cipro 10 drops each ear twice a day. The prednisone is 20 mg twice a day & go up to 30 twice if needed. Will see the rheumy Thursday. Called my internist back after the rheumy's office called to let them know I did not need her to call & was totally surprised when she called me back. She wanted to know what was happening. She left specific instructions with the guy on call who I can't stand, if I needed to call over the weekend. I thought we had gotten off on a bad foot right before this all happened because all my test results were normal & she was thinking it was in my head. We got all that straightened out on Weds. So glad we now understand each other. She was very frustrated because she knew I wasn't feeling well but we had that missing link & just couldn't find it. Mind you I lost my Internist of 15 years on Dec. 31, moved to a new practice & it's just too far to travel. I started seeing this one in April. She trained under my previous Dr. so her bedside manner is so much like the other one. This will be a learning experience for both of us.
