Guest guest
Hi , I just wanted to let you know that I am back on line now, reading posts and writing a little too. It still seems as if I am in a trance. I have the notes to write for the family and keep putting that off. Maybe after I get into that task, the reality will finally set in. I know that my Paxil makes an effect on me when it comes to emotions, it won't let me cry when I " feel like I either should be crying or need to cry " . I still need the Paxil too, so I just take one day at a time. Does that sound crazy? I had memories of Daddy's passing and it was nothing like this. I wasn't on Paxil either! How are you and yours doing? It seems like ages since I talked to you. You just signed on, I will see if I can catch you. Love and Prayers, Lucy Re: Heidi > In a message dated 10/15/01 6:04:55 PM Pacific Daylight Time, > OneSuperMema@... writes: > > << > << I just wish I had part of there energy. >> > Heidi, > I want YOURS!! Guest guest
Lucy, Judy O here, I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. It doesn't matter if you were "prepared", there is no preparation for losing a parent, I know first hand. When my dad died, about 10 years ago, he'd had many heart attacks and strokes, but he hung in there. When he actually died, we all expected to feel glad that his suffering had ended. Really did. Didn't happen, it was awful, so I know how you feel. The best advice I can give you is not to listen to those who tell you to get on with your life. Take all the time that you need, look at pictures, cry if you can. In time, the pain does ease, but it does take time. So, just do what you need to do for yourself, and the heck with anyone who tells you to "get over it", you really never do, there is always a place in your heart for your dad, and there always will be. The only difference is time lets you remember with a smile instead of a tear. God Bless You, Love, Judy O Re: Heidi> >> <<> << I just wish I had part of there energy. >>> Heidi,> I want YOURS!!
