Yes, I do. I've been on SCD since mid-July last year, LDN at a very low

dose (1.5 mg) since October. I highly recommended LDN as a good

complimentary treatment to SCD. Having said that, one often has to treat

the candida separately. This has proved the case for me. I horsed around

for several months hoping I could ignore the doctor on this (not wanting

meds) but finally decided to buckle down and take the Diflucan, followed

by Nystatin. And I was amazed that I've had almost no side effects from

the Diflucan and after about a week started feeling markedly

better. The Nystatin may cause die-off, though I'm sneaking up on

the dose now in the last week of the Diflucan, but I sure do know it's

worth doing so I will do it regardless. Then I am quite sure I will

be able to raise my LDN dose.

I would definitely recommend that you try the LDN, too. Don't

necessarily start high, either. I started at 1.0 for a month or so, then

went to 1.5. I am sure I will be able to do 2.0, doubt my full dose

will be over 3.0 but we will see.

Any of you who use LDN have known yeast problems ?

I continue to struggle with yeast (we assume) despite 9+ months of

SCD (no fruit, honey, dairy, nuts), Rx and natural anti-fungals.

I have a really silly question.  I read  the web on how to make the solution with the 50mg pills--much more cost effective for me.  Where can I find an amber glass?  I have looked but there's so much baby stuff, it's overwhelming lol.  And exactly what kind of cascading (is that the word) dropper do I get?  It said you would need to safely store the mixture in the refrigerator.

BTW, thanks for the post on staying at 1.5mg.  Someone with MS said it loses it's effectiveness after several years so if you can stay at a lower dose a long time, it's that much better.

Thanks, and since it's OT, you can email me straight.

I bought my glass bottle when I ordered a bunch of vitamins & supplements at

http://www.luckyvitamin.com/p-27049-frontier-natural-products-amber-wide-mouth-j\

ar-with-white-plastic-cap-4-oz . I've seen the same ones at other online vitamin

stores.

I got my oral syringes at Target. They gave me a 10 ML one (I fill it 5 times

for the water to mix with the naltrexone) and a 5 ML one for free when I asked

the pharmacist if they had any. I need to go to a drugstore and look for a new 5

ML though, because the marks are starting to wear off.

Also, don't forget to use distilled water.

A empty glass vitamin/supplement bottle. The S. boulardii bottles are perfect for it. So are many acidophilis bottles. There are various other supplements/brands that come in green or brown glass bottles.I have looked but there's so much baby stuff, it's> overwhelming lol. And exactly what kind of cascading (is that the word)> dropper do I get?Wal-Mart sells a needleless syringe kit for a couple of bucks. I found mine in the area near the pharmacy. It holds 10 ml. Or simply ask a pharmacist if they have needleless syringes that will hold at least several ml (there are ones that hold 5 ml; and 1, of course -- but that's not big enough, unless you want to suck up 1 ml at a time; which can be done, but it's not as convenient. Incidentally, when I make the liquid LDN I double the amount of distilled water to LDN powder. I find that works better, especially when you're taking a low dose of LDN: 1.5. ml of water is a miniscule amount; 3 ml is easier to deal with.  (So when I make it, I put 100 ml of distilled water in the bottle and one 50 mg naltrexone tablet. n-- Now available.
