Guest guest
Dear - how are you? I am so pleased thatyou are trying to give up smoking. It is one of the best things that you can do for yourself. How are the feet? It was so nice to meet you, I feel as if we have known each other for years! I think may be that is because you are so good at posting and support everyone. I am having a couple of not very good days, purely because I have gone down to five mg of pred again. I am trying to establish the lowest dose I can manage on! I sympathise with Dawn, not that my docs are bad, but I spent three days visiting the local hospital here, which is a good hospital, but very beaurocratic, trying to get lmg pred tablets, but I could only get 10 mg. I tried using logic, why can't I have lmgs, its less than 10mg - it hasn't been ordered by the doctor! Can't you ask the doctor? No. I gave up in the end, I have a rheumy appt on 4th Nov, so I will talk to him and hopefully get back on the straight and narrow! Heidi, you were asking about the weather - here in Riyadh it is pretty well perfect. Around 80 degrees, dry with a light breeze. Mind you that would be too hot if I had to walk to the shops or anything, but walking round the garden where there is plenty of shade is lovely. We have all gone into semi hibernation. Staying in our rooms, just emerging to eat or take the dogs for a walk! Please everybody, take care of yourselves, take Heidi's advice and take your meds and vits on time. Also wash your hands regularly - it is one of the best defences against infection! Love Liz __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Liz, it's so good to hear from you! Why are you having bad days, is the good old RP rearing it's ugly head? Hope not. Are you safe? With all the happenings over there, I worry about you. Kind of like when my brother was is Saudi in the Navy. He kept telling me that he could not be safer (he was on the battleship Wisconsin) he was directing the bombs out at Iraq. God, how I wish there would be peace in this world. He gave us such an incredibly beautiful world and look what we are doing to it! Well the weather in Chicago at the moment SUCKS! The temp is plummeting, it's raining buckets, and that miserable cold, damp weather makes everything act up! I think I'll head for your desert. Please take care, Love, Judy (PS, I want to go swimming!) /Dawn/Weather Dear - how are you? I am so pleased thatyouare trying to give up smoking.
