Guest guest
Sorry to hear about the problems some of you have been having. This is so hard to understand & frustrating. Got up this morning & ear was sore again. Red & swollen. Been on 60 mg of pred since Sun. Yesterday I actually felt almost human. Just had some chills in the afternoon & evening & sweats last night. Then whammo this morning. I go to the ENT today so I will see what he has to say. Going to get tough with them though because they have me seeing a new guy who is nice, but he's not my regular guy I've been seeing for over a year. If they have a problem getting me an appt. they'll have to have him call me & let him get me in. I've got a whole list of things for my rheumy tomorrow. I want to know how many patients she has had & currently has with RP. She told me last week that she doesn't think my knee is involved, although it has bothered me for the last 6 weeks or so, nothing major, but no problems before this. I don't like to make waves but if I don't stick up for myself, no one else will. I don't know what types of things constitutes a call to the Dr. I'm still a little pissed that I didn't get a call last week until 24 hours after my call on Thurs. I feel very comfortable with my rheumy & I know we both have to learn how to treat my individual case but it is frustrating. It's just so hard when you're taking meds for it & then it throws you a curve ball. Trying to take one day at a time. Here's hoping you gals feel better soon & your Dr. problems & insurance get better. Sue
