there and i am like a babbling idiot and only ask three LOL.

Hi Chuck, babble away, its OK. I have an underactive

thyroid which was diagnosed before the rp. When the

rp raised its head one of the docs told me it had

quite possibly been caused by the rp, as there is of

course cartilege. I know several other people in the

group also have problems with theirs. The good thing

about the thyroid is that when you get the thyroxine

dose right it is pretty straightforward to control. I

know how exhausted I felt before mine was picked up.

I kept saying to the doctor are you sure its not my

thyroid, no, no, your thyroid is fine. Then on about

the 4th set of tests, oh, surprise, its your thyroid!!

Anyway I have been taking thyroxine for seven or eight

years with no problems. Do hope you feel better soon.
