Gosh, Heidi, that was the first chuckle I've had today and I really needed it.

Thanks.

Dawn: So much for my med school theory. Generally it works. I hope you are

able to get the care you feel good about soon.

New Sue: Try to keep your stress level down. It makes the RP go up! I went to

an arthritis support meeting yesterday and the speaker's topic was fibromyalgia,

which I don't have, but I found it very interesting and learned a lot in

general. She gave us a really great relaxation tip that you can do anywhere

anytime to bring the stress level down. Just sit quietly and rock back and

forth gently for a couple of minutes. You don't need a rocking chair---just do

it wherever. It is really comforting. She also told us that research has

determined that the best recuperative sleeping hours are between 1 and 3 am.

That is when you need to be in deep sleep and is when your body produces the

chemicals it uses to bring your body back into good repair. She suggest keeping

a sleep log and record how you feel with the sleep you got so you can determine

how much you really need and where your sleep problems are if you are having

problems. Good ideas!

Love, Dagny
