Guest guest
Finally someone I can relate to on this. Yes, I know what you are talking about. I had this happen a few times and one time the pain was terrible. Wasn't soreness at all, it was terrible pain. I actually woke Mike up in the middle of the night and told him I was going to have to go to the ER the pain was so bad. I didn't go though. I stuck it out and saw my PCP the next day. When I had the worst attack, I alternated between heat and cold packs. The cold seemed to do better, but nothing helped much. I walked, I sat with heat, and cold packs, did everything and finally the pain started slowly leaving. It took several long hours to happen. Mine started in my ankles and then both knees were killing me. It was terrible. Try to alternate heat for 15 minutes, then cold packs for 15 minutes and see if that brings you any relief. I feel for you Sue. I can't relate to this. I don't know if this is a flare or not, but I think it was. There is cartilage in your knees and ankles and it's just too weird that both hurt so bad at the same time. Good luck Sue. I'll pray you feel better soon. W >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> My knees have been real painful since Weds. They woke me up the last 3 mornings & have hurt all day. Tried 2 Darvocet & doesn't seem to cut it. This morning the ankles were also sore. Is this a flare? What do some of you guys do if your knees are involved, ice or heat?
