Russ,

It is great to see a post from you. I hope all is well besides the darn old weight gain. The last time I heard you were having an awful time getting the RP in check. How is that going?

So sorry that you are having a time with the weight. I did what W. said to do but I still didn't lose weight until I was completely off the pred. It has something to do with the water weight gain. At least your Dr. understands and that is very important. He is more concerned right now at keep the RP in check. My Dr. did not have the greatest bed side manner. He asked me what my goal was when I reached 220. I have lost 60 lbs. since I have went of the pred but can't seem to get the last 20lbs. off. Take care and know I am on your side.

Lots of Love

Glenda

Glad to see someone else post about their weight- it's like opening a can of worms and now we all can join in. (As long as I'm not the first). I got ya all beat--- gained 60 pounds and my current rheumy called me 'obese' , not just once, but twice during my first appointment. I'm still trying to figure out if I like this guy or not. You try to consider that beside manner is not the most important thing- medical care is, but there comes a time.............
