Sue S.... I have that burning too... My throat burns down low... not like a

sore throat.. What is that?? I still haven't heard the results from my PFT,.

the dr at stanford called and changed the MRI to a CT scan of my chest..

Said that they talked to alot of different drs about it and that a CT scan

would be a better choice with RP... It would show more.. Has anyone heard of

that..?

I have also been having a problem with breathing. My chest & throat burn

all the time. I tried my inhaler Saturday & it seemed better. The

Internist checked my lungs Tues & said everything sounded good. I am on

Singulair for asthma, another thing caused by the RP, but am going to try

the inhaler again to see if it relieves it. It is not the costochondritis

thank God, that landed my overnight in the hospital last Dec. thinking it

could be heart related. The pain was excrutiating.

My blood pressure seems to be doing great even though I'm on the 60 of pred.

I take Atenolol for rapid heartbeat & Lotensin for blood pressure.

Getting nervous about starting to cut back the pred on Sunday, but it will

only be down to 50 so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The 50 will still be

a higher dose than I've been on since they found this a month ago.
