I think you will see some improvement now..I sure hope so. I know the feeling of laughing and crying at the same time... LOL It is quite an experience.. It happened alot with my mom. Please take care of yourself. You have to stay well too. Know that there are lots of prayers going out for you and your mom... Please keep us updated... I'm glad you're in the group too... I wish it would have been better news, but it sounds like she is where she needs to be for now. Does her Dr. in Houston have enough knowldege about RP to get her through this, on the right medications and headed in a more positive direction? If not, you might want to consider contacting a Dr. with some expertise in RP and discussing with him/her what is going on and having them contact your Mom's local Dr.. A couple that come to mind are Dr. Trentham and Dr. Buckner. I know people in the group could give you numbers to get in contact with either of them. I know that Dr. Trentham's phone number can be found on the RP Foundation site. Just a thought you might want to consider. As you stumble through these next few days, just remember that you and your Mom are in our prayers and their are a whole lot of good people here for you to vent to. Please keep us updated!!
