Just am enjoying every minute of this life I get while I can. How are you doing? Weren't you attempting to flare? Take care and always good to hear from you. Lots of LoveGlenda Yesterday is History....Tomorrow is a Mystery...Today is a Gift! , most people> hate the thought of > getting older, I just thank God I'm still here. I! Lu, I am always reminded of comment of Sir WinstonChurchill. On his 80th birthday someone asked him howhe felt. He answered "considering the alternative,Madam, I feel very well"Don't you love it? This time we are going toJeddah, then almost immediately to Paris. I think we will be in Paris for Christmas which is quite nice. They had started decorating while we were there before, there was a huge redchristmas tree outside Galeries Lafayette (one of the bigger Paris department stores) There were vendors selling roasted chestnuts, and Christmas carols were playing. Wow, said Lana, I feel like I'm in a movie! There, was I hoping to get a bit of swimming in in Jeddah, but instead I will be pounding the streets of Paris!! I am thinking of going to England after Paris, as it will cut out a flight, and I don't know what is coming up in March/April! Hopefully Africa, probably Tanzania, but I don't know for sure. That last paragraph implies I am afraid of flying - I hasten to assure you all this is not the case. I am much more afraid in cars, and statistically, of course, cars are much more dangerous!!Fortunately we do not think of that on a daily basis!!! No, it's just that we fly such a lot I sort of get bored with it!! We had alittle rain here the other night, which is usually cause for celebration, it freshens everthing up a bit. The sprinklers work, but they don't reach the tops of the trees! So they are always a bit dusty. Another interesting thing is that there is a large eagle aften seen round the garden. He is preying on our ducks and guinea fowl. It is an absolutely amazing sight, the first time I saw him he flew past me at about knee height and the wingspan was massive, you don't get any idea from films, or seeing them at a distance. I must try and find out what type of eagle he is. Ah well, that is enough natural history for today; there will be a pot test on....lol Take care of yourselves, miss you too, love Liz __________________________________________________
