Guest guest
Ann, What a special person you are to be crotcheting afghans for Christmas presents!! I don't have ONE artistic or crafty bone in my body!! I can tell you that the best gifts I have EVER gotten in my life where handmade. One was a crocheted afgahn from my mother in law, another was a quilt that my Grandmother made and the last one was a photo album that my Mother in law made that started back from my husbands birth and went all of the way through to our wedding and the birth of our children. I am sure that the afghans you make will be treasured gifts!! Guest guest
HI Kathi, Where are the gulf coast do you live? We go there at least once every summer. We usually go to Gulf Shores but visit Biloxi for an over night. lol I think we should just do our shopping by qvc and tell them to wrap them and everything. LOL Wouldn't that be nice? Have you gotten your tree up? Mine is half up. lol It looks like I will never finish, and then just to take it all down again. I can't imagine. I wish I had a small dose of Heidi, and Dawn's energy and Glenda's they must be wizards. lol Okay Kathi sit down and make a list of everything you need to do, make a separate list for gifts you must buy, decide on your budget and go buy at least one present tomorrow and then I would say your on your way. Take care, Lu -- I need desperate help!! I haven't even started yet!! I live on the Gulf Coast in Mississippi and would welcome ANYONE who wants to help me out!! I used to be one of those disgusting people that was done by September-- that was before RP!! Now, I don't have the energy to go grocery shopping much less Christmas Shopping!! Guest guest
Hi Kathi, What meds are you on? I think you need to change them. I was on metho once for 6 weeks and was so nauseated everyday, they switched my medicine and its a whole new life for me. Please call whatever doctor you have and tell him you can't handle the way the medicine is making you sick. Maybe they can change it to something else. Let me know if you do what they say, I'll be praying you will be able to make it thru buying at least one present tomorrow. Hey you could always just give everyone money this year, and say sorry....that is sounding better to me each and everyday. Take care, Love Lu Today, is the first day in 12 days that I haven't vomitted everything I have put in my mouth, so I think I am finally getting through this bout. I am just very frustrated and depressed about the whole thing and that is certainly not helping things!! Right now, I would give just about anything to feel a little bit better. That would certainly help the whole Christmas shopping/decorating thing a little bit!! Anyway, I didn't mean to vent,

Guest guest
Hi Lu, I live in Ocean Springs, Ms.-- right across the bridge from Biloxi!! How exciting that you come here every summer!! We will have to plan to get together when you visit again. My husband is stationed at Keesler, AFB, which is how we happened to move to this neck of the woods. He WAS due to retire on December 1st, but that has all changed since the war. We like it here so much that we are retiring here. He has a computer business on the side that he is going to open full-time, IF he ever gets to retire!! Okay, on to Christmas--no I haven't even thought of putting up the tree or decorating or anything like that yet. I am still struggling with the thought of Christmas shopping!!! I KNOW I HAVE TO GET STARTED!!!!! I have been on all of these medications for RP now for 6 months and just don't seem to be improving and not having a DR. who knows how to treat it is definately not helping!! I am so fatigued and I battle severe nausea so much. Today, is the first day in 12 days that I haven't vomitted everything I have put in my mouth, so I think I am finally getting through this bout. I am just very frustrated and depressed about the whole thing and that is certainly not helping things!! Right now, I would give just about anything to feel a little bit better. I promise that tomorrow, I will buy 1 thing but it won't be for Christmas because my son's 15th birthday is on December 12th, so I need to deal with that first!! One thing I have done, is made all of my lists, so I guess I have started!!
