Guest guest
Ann, pred can definitely give you weak muscles. When I was first sick and in hospital I was on a high dose for a couple of months, I could hardly walk, and really couldn't get up and down the stairs. However, it is really important to keep moving and try and keep your muscles strong. Don't worry about using a cane if you have to - its better to use one and keep moving, also I find it stops thejoints stiffening too much.(Moving, I mean, not the cane)lol. I don't need one most of the time, but I have one of those fold away ones, that I keep handy, just in case, especially when travelling. Then if you don't need it, just fold it up and putit in your bag!! Hope you feel better, love Liz __________________________________________________
