I refinanced my house bought my husband out, we bought him a house with that money up where he wants to live, piece, quiet and not a lot of people. Doctors say this will help some, put he can't be fixed with the mental illness. I love him dearly and will make sure he does well, but I will go on with my life also and make sure my boys are taken care of and me of course. So with that in mind I took out extra money when I refinanced for my surgeries also. I am so happy, so I will be giving this doctor a call after I get my husband settled in at his new place in March. This sounds silly but can I come meet you sometime after your surgery, and see what your size compares to mine and what a full D looks like. Hope this is to personal from someone you don't know, and I'd like to see how the tummy tuck with her pulling the excess skin or if I want to go with (brain block) the surgery Martha had where the doctor goes all the way around and lifts everything withthe tummy tuck. Lapbeltictomy? I know this isn't right! Anyways you know what I mean. I'll look it up again later.Pam I can't thank you enough for all the information. I am so so so excited for you. Take care. I picked the size that I wanted which was a midsize D (400 cc). She said this was just fine for my body composition but she did not recommend that I go to a full D because my frame is small (that sounded nice after being severely obese for 14 years). The implants are saline implants and not the silicone ones and I am happy about that. She said they are on warranty for 10 years and unlike some implants, you don't have to go back after 10-15 years and replace them. If something goes wrong with the implants within that 10 year mark, the company will pay for the new implants.I got a date of April 19th and my pre-op appointment is on April 12th. My tummy tuck will take 2 hours and the breast lift with implants will take 2 hours for total of 4 hours. She said that she keeps her patients over night rather than sending them home on the same day and I am happy about that. Since I am a secretary, she said I can go back to work after two weeks. She said I would have two drain tubes and they are normally taken out 3-7 days post surgery or less depending on how much draining you have. Now for the good part. My first plastic surgeon quoted me a price of $20,500.00. I found out about Dr. Place from a young lady at the Vacaville Support Group meeting in November. Dr. Place is in high demand and is board certified and has been doing this for many years. I got this appointment back in November of last year. My total for the tummy tuck, breast lift with implants with the hospital fees and anesthesiology fees is $11,198.23. The tummy tuck is $4,025.00 and the breast lift with implants is normally $3,000.00, but I got a $300.00 discount for having two procedures done so my cost for the lift with implants is $2,700.00. The hospital fee is $2,010.00 and the anesthesia fee is $1,240.00. The Implants cost $1,130.00. This $11,198.23 is lower than I thought. The young lady that told me about Dr. Place told me it was $13,000.00 for her. The extra $2,000.00 is for lipo and I don't need lipo. Dr. Place told me that the stretch marks I have due to child birth will be gone once I have the tummy tuck. The other great thing is she does not have to cut me under the breast (anchor cut) like the other surgeon was going to do. She is making a lollie pop incision which is a line from the areola (spelling) and insert the implants under the muscle. She said that when the tummy tuck is performed she will lift the lower legs by pulling the skin up so in actuality, you sort of get a simi lower body lift and that is great.I am so happy and even though I was hoping for a March date, April is just fine. I can spend this time working on losing this additional 10 pounds I wanted to lose so I will go in at 130 pounds. Dr. Place's office is at 919 San Ramon Valley Blvd., Suite 255, Danville, CA 94526 and the telephone number is . The fax number is .I hope I did not bore you to much and if you have any more questions about my visit, I would be more than happy to talk with anyone about it. Email me or call me at 707 437-7950 (anytime after 6:00 pm). Thanks for listening.Pam Marsh

Guest guest
Hi, - I can't answer your question - I'll have to leave that for one of the more experienced folks - but I do have a special request: when you're sending a message to the group, if you use " reply " , would you please " cut " out everything but the part you're replying to? (In most email programs you can highlight the text you want to take out and then delete it.) If you don't do that, then what everyone else gets are enormous emails with the entire digest included. Thanks! Cathy C. > > Hi Group i got a appt to go see a prev med doctor and sit in on a group and see the doc after, what do you all think?
